It suddenly occured to me I've been watching the Simpson for a good three hundred years now and have yet to post a single cost of their for sale. I guess the talent/creators behind the show are happy enough with the fortunes they have. How very unamerican of them not to want more.

I've always found the Simpson somewhat of a conundrum. The only not Republican voice on the entirety of the Fox network. And yet, somehow I'm never quite sure. Perhaps they're using some voodoo brand of reverse psychology. What with the constant church going and pot references, I find it all very confusing.

Combine that with their wholly not commercial agenda and I'm tempted to label the message socialist. If there is indeed a message at all other than watch fox and make certain you stay tuned for the faux news.

The real question is do the Simpsons, regardless of their possible affiliations have any political sway. I would answer, a resounding YES! They are a tool. An evil, yellow, insidious, seemingly innocuous tool of the pirate ship that is Fox News. Pillaging real news everywhere for the dirty doubloons that pay to keep monsters in office.

During the last idiot address dubya gave every other network simply noted on screen that said programming was an update on the state of ruin, um union. But fox cleverly titled it, Iraq: Moving Forward. Subtle.

Regardless of what side you agree, disagree with or otherwise wish to slaughter, is not the news supposed to be an impartial source of information. A font of facts, not opinions. The problem with America today is that every goddamn thing is viewed as a source of revenue. News has sponsors. Sponsors want to sell things to a certain audience. I'm sure it's much more complicated than that, but suffice it to say god is green and tattooed in former presidents.

Anyway, no Simpson costumes, ever. Not to my knowledge. Just a bunch of yellow cartoon assholes that simultaneously mock and applaud the stellar economics of religion and complacency.
